See in Sicht is the name given to a vacation home in Scharmützelsee, Berlin, Germany. The owner wanted to showcase the house, along with the area, to potential renters of the premises, as well as allow them to contact and book directly from the website.
My Role
UI designer, graphic designer, and Wordpress developer.
The Challenges
There was lot of information to convey, so we had to create a balanced website while maintaining a text-heavy approach; we also had a tight deadline which greatly limited the time for UX research.
The Results
Fully functional responsive website and booking page; the property is often fully booked.
The Project

I worked closely with the owner of the property, her goal was to have a website showcasing the property and area, with a fully functioning booking feature, that she could easily manage. I defined the information architecture, sketched the screens, implemented the website on the Wordpress environment, and designed the logo and graphical elements in order to achieve that.
The project was developed under a small budget, within a relatively tight deadline as the owner had to get the site online in order to start renting her property; so we had to work with assumptions about her potential clients, but in the end we obtained a final product that not only achieves her main goals, but has also received lots of positive feedback from the clients, and the property is usually fully booked on summers!
